Race For Hope

What We Did

Social Media strategy, Design, Illustration
The challenge:

To build a tool kit for people to get excited, create and post content in different social media platforms using the handle #Race4Hope. We partnered with The National Brain Tumor Society to help them develop their social media presence with close to 0 budget.

What we did:

We suggested the use of one hashtag to be communicated to participants: #Race4Hope we created some simple assets, signs, jumbotron screen and email mention, to communicate the fact that, this year, for the first time, the race had an “official” hashtag and some fun Snapchat filters.
People did the rest. The Snapchatsfilters caused sensation, lots of people downloaded their pictures from their Snapchat “story” and reposted them to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using our hastag and helping this event build a stronger presence in social media. We can’t wait to create more fun stuff next year.
