The challenge:
2016’s Annual Meeting of the European Scientific Diasporas in North America was focused on fostering innovation between researchers through mentor/mentee relationships.
Often these relationships end up becoming a source of inspiration for both parties: the mentor inspires with years of experience, and the mentee with the spark of novel thinking. These relationships exist across continental borders, spanning from Europe to North America.
Our goal was to showcase this relationship visually and implement information from this meeting into a report.
The Solution:
We created a unique report that uses visual components to communicate the theme “Pathways of Innovation.” The lines repeated throughout allude to the pathways of communication between mentor and mentee and reflect an inspiring sense of innovation. This design element also allowed for information to be broken up in an organized fashion.
